Craig Evans - A 1st Century Copy of Mark? Not so fast . . .

Dr. Craig Evans, John Bisagno Distinguished Professor of Christian Origins at Houston Baptist University, discusses reports that scholars may have discovered a fragment of the Gospel of Mark that dates from the late 1^st century.  Through a good deal of hi-jinx and intrigue the fragment has recently been published. It is not late 1^st century as early reports suggest, but late 2^nd or early 3^rd century.  Still it is the earliest fragment of the Gospel of Mark we have.
