Craig Evans - A 1st Century Copy of Mark? Not so fast . . .

Dr. Craig Evans, John Bisagno Distinguished Professor of Christian Origins at Houston Baptist University, discusses reports that scholars may have discovered a fragment of the Gospel of Mark that dates from the late 1st century.  Through a good deal of hi-jinx and intrigue the fragment has recently been published. It is not late 1st century as early reports suggest, but late 2nd or early 3rd century.  Still it is the earliest fragment of the Gospel of Mark we have.
