C.S. Lewis and the Post Modern Generation: His Message 50 Years Later

C. S. Lewis continues to inspire and fascinate millions of us even though he died 50 years ago. He was a towering intellectual figure, an atheist-turned-Christian thinker and a popular fiction author who inspired a global movie franchise. Alister McGrath will paint a definitive portrait of the life of C. S. Lewis and explore some especially interesting aspects of this creative genius. McGrath has thoroughly examined all his writings, including recently published correspondence. He challenges previously held beliefs about the timing of Lewis’s shift from atheism to theism and then to Christianity. Lewis was an eccentric thinker who became an inspiring, though reluctant, prophet for our times.
