Professor F. García Martínez visits library to organize his private collection!

Come by the library March 3, 4, 7 and 8 to meet and talk with Professor F. García Martínez! The library is purchasing Martínez’s private collection, and he is visiting to help us organize his books and research materials.

F. García Martínez, currently a professor of religion and theology at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands, has devoted his entire academic career to the Dead Sea Scrolls. His numerous publications, editorial and coordinating work have made a significant contribution to the study and interpretation of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Thanks to his work, the Scrolls have become one of the most important instruments for understanding Early Christendom in the Jewish and Graeco-Roman world.

We are so privileged to have his personal collection in our library. Please drop by and give him a warm welcome!
