Study and Spirituality at LTL

It was a chilly but otherwise sunny and beautiful morning at the Lanier Theological Library on Saturday, February 11, 2023. The librarian arrived early to unlock doors and get the lights on in the Library, Chapel, and the Lamb & Scroll refectory in preparation for the arrival of our guests for the day.

Soon, twenty students, alumni, and faculty arrived from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Most of them had traveled 400 miles on what can best be called a pilgrimage. They came to see the buildings and artifacts, use the resources for research, and experience the spiritual refreshment that the library grounds offer. They were led through the day by the Dean of the Pruet School of Christian Studies, Dr. Jeremy S. Greer. Dean Greer shared, “We had a wonderful & productive time of study, research, & writing. Our students loved the library & the experience.”

Would you and your out-of-town colleagues or students like to have the opportunity to research and study on a future Saturday? You can, by appointment only. Contact info@lanierlibrary.org for more information.
