TSC_080 Phoenix Seminary, The Text and Canon Institute

David Capes welcomes the leadership of The Text and Canon Institute to the Lanier Theological Library and “The Stone Chapel Podcast.” John Meade, professor of Old Testament and Hebrew and co-director of the institute, Peter Gurry, professor of New Testament and Greek and co-director of the institute, and Josh Koch, Operations Director of the institute, were in Houston traveling to a church in Texas to present a conference on how we got the Bible.  The Text and Canon Institute exists to illuminate the history of the Bible and its home is Phoenix Seminary.  For more information about the institute go to their website: www.textandcanon.org. Look for them to be back in the future at the Lanier Theological Library.  They provide resources for the churches, scholarships for students, and they do high-level conferences with small groups of scholars on select moments in the history of the Bible.
