Attending a Library Lecture

We hope not only to provide physical resources to study the Bible, but also to foster a challenging intellectual environment for everyone interested in biblical studies. The library hosts several lectures throughout the year when we bring in a biblical scholars, renowned theologians, or archaeologists to give a stimulating presentation on their research. The topics of these lectures range from examining seminal texts of the Christian doctrine to exploring how theology affects the Christian's worldview on a day-to-day basis. More information about previous lecturers can be found here.

Our lectures are free and open to the public. We do ask that you register online to attend so that we know how many people are coming. Most lectures are followed by a reception in the library.

Starting in the fall of 2020, all lectures can be viewed live on the Lanier Theological Library YouTube channel. (Subscribe to be reminded!!!)
