American culture has shifted dramatically in the last decade toward stances which are openly hostile to the Christian faith. Views now aggressively promoted in popular and journalistic media, flourished decades earlier only in elite liberal arts faculties. We need an elite generation of Christian academics to feature in tomorrow’s universities, ensuring that a gospel-centered voice informs every conversation. Join us for an enlightening lecture by Professor George Yancey as he delves into the pressing issue of anti-Christian bias within academia and strategies to combat it effectively.

George Yancey is Professor of Social Sciences at Baylor University. He has published on institutional racial diversity, racial identity, academic bias, progressive Christians, and anti-Christian hostility. His books include Compromising Scholarship exploring religious and political biases in academia, What Motivates Cultural Progressives? examining activists who oppose the Christian Right, There Is No God investigating atheism in the United States, and So Many Christians, So Few Lions assessing Christianophobia in the United States.
